'Just by chance picked excellent accommodation. Warm, cosy, clean. Much forethought taken to cater for and enable disabled people - will definitely recommend.'

Since 1999 we have entertained visitors from all over the world  with many interests and reasons for visiting this part of Scotland.

As we live on site we are available to answer any questions and offer suggestions on how to spend your time here, although we remain unobtrusive allowing your full enjoyment of the relaxing an beautiful environment. Although only fluent in English we can make a reasonable attempt at French and have a tiny smattering of German, Spanish and  Japanese!.

We welcome children and pets* (well-behaved of course!) and both are welcome to explore the gardens, but beware of the pond beyond the barbeque area.

We have also made every effort to make both Laggan Cottage and The Auld Poor House as accessible as possible to disabled guests. Laggan Cottage has level paved access and, although the first floor bedrooms are inaccessible to wheelchairs, a ground floor bed and bathroom allows access to all other facilities. The Auld Poor House  has a ramp to the front door and an accessible ground floor bedroom. A stairlift allows easy access to the upstairs rooms - although, sadly, owing to the layout, the kitchen does not allow access to a wheelchair.

*As pet lovers ourselves we know how rewarding it is to take them on holiday. However, please be mindful of guests who stay in the cottage after you. We suggest you stick to the following guidelines:

  • Keep your pet off furniture and beds

  • Never leave your pet unattended in the cottage

  • Clean up after your pet
